We went to dinner there the first time on Sunday. We went with another couple and all four of us had different plates and everyone was wonderful. Very creative cooking. It is hard to find the food style because it is quite unique. It's definitely southwestern, but is very unique. They have a number of mesquite grilled items. I had the mesquite grilled octopus and it was fabulous. Cooked perfectly with complex spices. I'm not sure what the exact composition was, but it was excellent. The service and ambience was quite pleasant. We'll definitely go back again.

Very nifty place plopped into a commercial district. Their parking lot was full when I arrived on a Sunday evening, so I parked a few doors down in front of a design store that was closed. I asked about it when I checked in for my reservation, and they said they would alert me if anyone called about it. When I returned to my car after dinner, a nearby car was being towed. So I barely escaped with my rental, lol. At any rate, be careful where you park. The interior is an open space with a neat vintage screen symbolically dividing it in half. The menu is fascinating to read. Service was swift and welcoming throughout. I had the grilled octopus appetizer, which was good but a little over-accessorized for my taste. It had a rub, plus herbs and various accompaniments that were just too much. This one is apparently quite popular, but could use some judicious editing in my opinion. My entree of the shrimp with masa dumplings in a seafood broth was perfect, however. Great balance and perfect portion. If I lived in the area, I would probably check in here regularly just to enjoy the vibe and see what creative goodies had been dreamed up for the fascinating menu.

Nice surprise to find this gem. Ambience was great and the food, drinks and service were even better. We had the octopus and pork, which were equally delicious. The Singani Rose cocktail was my favorite! Couldn't have just one. Birthday dessert was even brought out! One of my favorites in Tucson. I will definitely revisit when I'm in the 'Zona.

My partner and I made a reservation here for date night. We very much enjoyed our food! The flavor combinations were very unique as compared to anything else we've had in Tucson. The crispy calamari arrived at our table quickly. Unfortunately, the batter was not very crispy and kept sliding off the pieces. The striped bass skin, on the other hand, was very crispy and the fish was flaky. My partner loved the pork chop with the strawberry infused sauce. I believe the sauces were what made the dishes 10/10. Otherwise, our waitress was hands off.

This is a true fine dining restaurant in Tucson. Hands down the best and shows the other more expensive fine dining places are only pretending. I'm serious from the first course to the last it was a knockout. Alright, enough of that. The restaurant was cool, and they had added soundproofing, so the ambiance was good. The servers were attentive and not over present, but there when you needed them just as you realized you did. I don't want to into detail about the dishes as each was fantastic and revelatory. No kidding. I'm serious. The only complaint I had was that the boneless fish had some bones, but that didn't matter. Finally, we ended the meal with their olive oil cake, i can see why its been on the menu for years. The kicker is that it's reasonably priced, far cheaper than other 'pretend' fine dining places that assume fru fru expensive dishes that don't taste all that good is fine dining. If you want to impress a date, don't do it throwing money at subpar food. Go here and get the real experience.

It is a 70s theme styled place, retro with guys having a hair bun. Service was good. Nothing over the top. People still in masks. The food was good, very pricey for the amount we got. I left not fully full. I had the veggie pozole verde. My friend had the pork chops but didn't like the veggies at all. I ate all my food and didn't have any GI upset. They don't have a lot of options. Very limited menu, Mostly fish, some steak and pork chops. No chicken. I would return but not my first choice.

Wow.. wow .. wow - this was seriously ONE OF THE BEST meals from beginning to end... there was not one thing we ate that did not meet and beat my expectations- couple things to note the flavors are definitely mesquite so - I am not the biggest fan of smoke flavors and mesquite .. so I did go with a little hesitation in the back of my mind - but boy oh boy was it delish!! The chef is so creative and unique with his mixture of seasonings and textures and sauces that accompanied every dish -... seriously marvelous. We ate tapas style so we shared everything- A We had: The pork chop 10/10 The duck 9/10 because I missed the crunchy skin on the duck The striped bass - very smoky cabbage but the fish was done perfectly- The queso was some of the best taking queso I ever had so delicious and the Hamachi carpaccio was fabulous Don't skip out on the dessert menu because that was superb delicious ... Make a reservation today!! Don't miss out on t his wonderful chef! Our server Helen was so nice and attentive- we appreciated her feed back and suggestions ... The drinks were good!

Menu contains many delicious options including the Gem salad, crispy calamari, and specials like ribeyes. Dessert is also excellent.
